Focused Discussion Format Answers Common Construction Questions

Talmadge Construction is proud to announce its first free seminar of the New Year, “Professional Secrets of Kitchen Design and Remodeling”. The seminar will take place Wednesday, January 20th from 6:30-8:30 PM in the Grove Room of the Hotel Paradox in Santa Cruz. The seminar will consist of three topic-specific 30-minute presentations each given by a different member of the Talmadge Design-Build Construction team. The presentations will include:  “Designing a Beautiful Kitchen with Universal Design Techniques,” by Designer, Erin Loftin. “2016 Kitchen Design Trends & Concepts,” presented by Architect Danielle Grenier, concluded with “Dollars and Sense…How to Budget for A Kitchen Remodel,” presented by General Contractor Jeff Talmadge. “Our focused discussion format was designed to give people great information in a really fresh way, 30-minutes per topic, all focusing on commonly asked questions and requests from active projects” said Designer, Erin Loftin. “We’ve figured out a way to give people great material without information overkill.” Loftin added that her passion is educating homeowners on innovative design techniques including incorporating Universal Design and Age in Place strategies into modern kitchen design. The evening will begin with the team fielding open questions over soft drinks and hors d’oeuvres from 6:30 PM to 7:00PM. The presentations will start promptly at 7:00 PM with brief question and answer sessions between each presentation. “In over 30 years of building and remodeling homes in the area, the top question everyone wants to know is “How much does it cost?” said Jeff Talmadge. “I’ve finally figured out a way to answer that question for the masses in my section ‘Dollars and Sense’.” The seminars are open to the public and people are encouraged to reserve their seats by calling or reserve online at talmadgeconstruction.com. The seminars tend to fill up quickly and seating is limited, so interested parties are encouraged to reserve your spot early.
