This vintage 1960’s kitchen was badly in need of some creative design solutions. The view to the dining room was cut off with a bank of upper cabinets, not enough counter space or storage. We removed the nonstructural wall of upper cabinets to open up the room. Oven and cooktop were relocated and a new island with ample storage was positioned opposite the cooking station. The counter space was tripled and topped with quartz slabs. Everything can be stored neatly behind the soft grey painted cabinetry. New window in kitchen and additional window in dining room were added along with bright, recessed lighting, pendant lights, and under counter task lighting.
